Operations – Delivery Models and Capacity to Build a Workforce

There are a range of models currently being used in the water industry for maximising efficiency and performance in the delivery of operational programs. An important consideration is the ability to build workforce capacity and positioning organisations to address challenges both with current skill shortages and the requirements of operating more complex systems.
This workshop will include presentations on current operational delivery models and their particular challenges. Also discussed will be initiatives used by organisations and companies to build workforce capacity in the current employment climate. As well as covering a lot of Australia, included is a comparison with the US industry.
