Program
The conference program will include 12 invited speakers encompassing experiences, challenges and solutions from within Australia, Europe, Asia, the Indian sub-continent and the Americas.
These presentations will be complemented by over 200 platform papers under the main conference themes of:
- Integrated Water Management
- Water and Wastewater Systems and Processes
- Policy and Strategy
- Emerging and Innovative Technologies and Research
The main conference program will commence with the Opening Ceremony on Monday morning which will include an official opening by a prominent dignitary. The conference will close with informal drinks on Wednesday afternoon.
Poster Program and Mini Presentations
For the first time, AWA is introducing sophisticated electronic posters at Ozwater ’09, as an alternative to standard paper posters. More than 200 posters will be presented in this new format.
Electronic posters are webpage documents produced by the authors before the conference. The posters include text, figures and images, just as in traditional paper posters. Electronic posters can be browsed by session and topic, and can be searched using author names and keywords, all in a few seconds, from one computer.
Delegates will be able to contact authors via email through the electronic poster system. 40 posters have also been selected for “mini presentations” which are 5 minute oral presentations from the poster author. Mini presentations have been scheduled within the main conference program.
